Since her unofficial retirement from recording, she has woefully attempted to pick up acting in horrible Tyler Perry movies is awfully sweaty roles which leave her looking....well, less than up to par with what her fans are used to seeing.
Janet's album sales began to tank about a decade ago for two reasons: 1) she continues to sing like she's a 16 year old girl who has to sneak out of windows to see boys (?). Really, Janet? You are nearly 50 years old and you're still saying, "Hit me on my hip."? 2) She dumped Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. The maestros. The two men who singlehandedly gave her a career. Bad move.
For those of you who miss her much, here's a little known video to satiate until she decides to kick her eating disorder into Skinny Mode and began recording again...
